There is some argument for this going in the "Team Advertisements" section, but this topic is more about teams in general than specific teams. Anyway...
I'll list things in the order that they happened:
1. I started crunching for various projects before I found some that didn't mess with my computer too much and actually worked on my computer. Those were PrimeGrid, Einstein@Home, Milkyway@Home, and QMC@Home.
2. I decided to devote my resources fully to PrimeGrid until my computer found a prime that made it into the Largest 5000 Primes database.
3. I joined team XKCD (and did a bit of recruiting...)
4. My computer found a prime that made it into the Largest 5000 database (yay...)
5. I started giving resources back to E@H.
6. I noticed that my E@H crunching was not showing up on team XKCD's stats page.
7. I went over to the E@H website and created a team XKCD over there with the same info as the existing team XKCD, thinking that the software would recongnize that the E@H team was just another branch of the existing team XKCD.
8. I discovered I was wrong.
And now, after all that intro, the question finally surfaces: how can these two teams be merged? _________________ Lucas Brown

Sorry about the mega delay in replying - just back from vacation!
I can only find 1 team with the name " XKCD " in our DB & in those of other stats sites as well - did your problem resolve itself since your post of a month ago?
